Treatment made just for you.

  • Microneedling, also called percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. It is performed using a handheld, pen-shaped device, electrically powered with tiny needles that make precise, microscopic punctures in the skin. These micro-puncture helps stimulate your skin to produce more collagen and elastin through a natural process called dermal remodeling

Through a series of sessions, microneedling can increase elastic skin fibers (collagen). Microneedling also helps the epidermis (the outermost layer of skin), which naturally thinks with age, become thicker and tauter.

Microneedling can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions including enlarged pores, fine lines, thin and wrinkled skin, mild scars, uneven skin tone, and stretch marks.

Microneedling does not deliver heat to the skin like lasers do. As a result, people who have melasma and hyperpigmentation can undergo microneedling without the risk of worsening pigmentation problems (which can result as a part of post-inflammatory response).

  • The two treatments are remarkably similar. The biggest difference between microchanneling and microneedling is the type of device used during treatment.

Microneedling uses a medical pen to penetrate beneath the skin (at varying depth, typically 0.25-2.50mm). Puncturing with microneedling typically has a more pronounced puncture effect as such, tends to provide better results for those looking to improve fine lines and skin electricity.

Microneedling shines the most wiith an addition of PRF and/or exosome. PRF and exosome promote cell healing and activates growth factors to produce new collagen.

AquaGold microchanneling and microneedling are not meant to replace each other but rather to enhance each other. If you have an important social event, I typically recommend microneedling 3 months prior to event and AquaGold channeling 1-2 weeks prior to event.

  • Mostly done on face, neck and décolleté. But you can also get treatments on different areas of the body, including stomach and thighs.

  • 1 hour including numbing time (additional 30 minutes with PRF)

  • The treated area may appear pink/red in color, but will gradually resolved in a week. With addition of exosome and/or PRF, the downtime is decreased to 3-4 days. The skin may feel hot, tight, dry, swollen and sensitive to the touch.

  • Do not wash your face for the 4 hours to allow the deeper penetration of your customized cocktail of PRF or exosome, Hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and others. Wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser.

Avoid using makeup until the next day.

Avoid exfoliating products (salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, retinol, etc) on the treated areas for at least 2 weeks.

Limit sun exposure for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

    Use a non-comedogenic sunscreen always

Avoid alcohol beverages and any exposure to UV and extreme heat (i.e. sauna, steam, sun beds, hot showers, strenuous exercise) for at least 48 hours.

  • Treatments are recommended 2-3 times a year in the beginning. 1-2 times a year afterwards for maintenance.
